According to legend, the original brand was created in an English pub. Handmade, extra crunchy crisps with special spices - that is the passion of friends, John and John, from a small town in Southern England.
One of them is potato farmer, John Farmer. He prepares the world’s best crisps from his selected Old English potatoes and vegetables. The gently washed potatoes and the vegetables are cut into thick slices with their skin and fried in high-quality sunflower oil.
The other is the adventurer, John Sailor. He travels the world, continuously in search of new, special spices, with which he refines the crisps of his friend: These include pepper from Malabar, Indian chilli or sea salt from the Middle East, as well as regional specialities, such as the award-winning apple vinegar from Aspall Cyder and Cheddar cheese from a small English family-business in Suffolk.
The result: unusual products of the highest quality. Natural, and extraordinarily good.
