The basis for this is formed by one of the most valuable products that the Italian region of Langhe yields, the sweet, aromatic, round Piedmont hazelnuts, the Tonda gentile. A nut that has helped to make this region world famous and gives this manufacturer’s products their brilliant character and extraordinary flavour. The form the basis for gianduia, the sweet torrone and also for the world famous truffle chocolates, which are made of more than 40% IGP hazelnuts, cocoa mass and cocoa butter, for example.
